May’s News!
Welcome to our Newsletter. We have plenty of exciting activities planned across the Nursery to make the most of the beautiful sunshine!
Baby Room
This month in Baby Room, our focus ‘Transport!’ During circle times, we will be looking at different vehicle flash cards, from boats and planes to cars and trains, and will also be singing different transport related songs such as ‘Twinkle Twinkle Traffic Light.’
The babies will also have the opportunity to play and explore with water, boats and crocodiles in our ‘Row, Row, Row Your Boat’ sensory tray with all of their friends. How exciting! We will even be making our very own shape trains to go up on the wall. There’s so much to look forward to!
Tweenies
This month in Tweenie Room, our focus is ‘Our Five Senses!’ We have many sensory activities planned for the children to explore and learn about their different senses in a range of ways. There will be shaving foam, jelly, gloop, bubbly water and so much more! We can’t wait for you to see!
We will also be making the most of this beautiful weather by going on walks around the local community to see what we can smell, hear, feel and see. I wonder what we’ll find?
Pre-School
This month in Pre-School, our focus is ‘Animals!’ During circle times, we will be talking all about zoo animals, farm animals, creatures that live under the sea and also any pets that we may have at home. We will then learn how to look after and treat our animals in our role play vets. How fun!
The children will also have the opportunity to get creative in their play as they use the animals to make different animal prints tracks. We will even be painting our very own under the sea scene! There’s so much to look forward to!
