October’s News
Welcome to our Newsletter! We have a lot of exciting things planned across the nursery to welcome the Autumn season.
Baby Room
This month, our focus is ‘Autumn.’ We have many fun activities planned for our babies such as going on a walk to collect conkers, pine cones and leaves for out art work. We will also be painting our very own hedgehogs to put up around nursery! It’s going to be fantastic!
We will also be celebrating Halloween towards the end of the month with a spooky pumpkin party! There will be spider themed messy play, ghost crafts and make your own pumpkin. We can’t wait!

Pre-school
We have a very exciting month planned as we focus on our new topic, ‘Autumn.’ We will be going on a lovely walk to search for conkers, pine cones and leaves to bring back to nursery and will use these to create our own leaf rubbing, hedgehogs and conker trail pictures. There’s so much to look forward to!
We will also be celebrating Halloween towards the end of the month with a spooky pumpkin party! There will be plenty of Halloween arts and crafts, such as making creepy-crawly spider webs and dancing skeletons. We will even have a special, spooky snack!
Reminders
*On our recent OFSTED inspection, we achieved a fantastic ‘good’ grading with outstanding features! We are all extremely pleased with this result. You can read our report here: https://files.api.ofsted.gov.uk/v1/file/50031212
*Please bring in a coat and winter hat for your child to make sure that they are nice and cosy when playing out in the garden or on walks.
*Please be careful when driving in and out of the car park as there are children around. Could we also remind you that the back gate is our fire exit and therefore needs to be unobstructed at all times. Thank you.
