Bebington Newsletter – July

July’s News!

Welcome to our July Newsletter! We have a lot of exciting things planned for this month across the nursery to make the most of the wonderful summer time.

Baby Room

This month, our topic is Summer! We have many fun activities planned for our babies such as fruit tasting, fruit painting and also sensory water play with various, citrus fruits. We will also be singing some summer inspired songs during circle time and will make our own ‘Mr Sun!’

We will also be making the most of the glorious sunshine by playing out in the garden. As we will be spending some time outdoors, could we please ask that you bring in a hat each day as the weather is very hot at the moment. Thank you.

Tweenies

This month, our topic is senses! We have many fun activities planned for our Tweenies such as a trip to the library to choose some new topic books, food tasting and senses bingo. We will also be getting very creative by making our own faces by cutting, gluing and sticking!

We will also be making the most of the glorious sunshine by playing out in the garden. As we will be spending some time outdoors, could we please ask that you bring in a hat each day as the weather is very hot at the moment. Thank you.

Pre-school

This month, our topic is mini-beasts! We will be talking about and looking at mini-beasts in our natural environment, looking at the life cycle of a butterfly and also will play ‘count the spots’ with our large garden ladybirds.

As some of our children will leave us for ‘big school’ this summer, we will also be talking about getting ready for school, dressing up in school uniforms and drawing pictures of our new school. We also have a very exciting graduation planned for Friday the 20th of July. We can’t wait for you to see!

Reminders

*We have our rainbow-themed, charity garden party on Friday the 20th of July and would love for you to come! 100% of donations go to the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

*We ask that you avoid bringing toys in from home to nursery in case they get lost or damaged. We don’t want your little one getting upset.

*Remember to renew your eligibility code every term for 30 hour funding.

* Please bring in a hat and any personal sun-cream if needed every day as the weather is forecast to be very hot.
