Fire Engine Visit!

The children have been learning all about the people who help us within our local community and were all extremely excited when they got a special visit from the firefighters the other week!

They had so much fun spraying the water from the hose, trying on the uniform and sitting in the fire engine with all of their friends! They found the gear to be fascinating to look at and explore.

After a lovely morning spent with the firefighters, the children then stood and waved them off from the top of the hill whilst the firefighters sounded the very loud siren! What fun!

We then went inside to talk all about what our favourite part of the firefighter visit was during circle time. What a fantastic day and a great opportunity for the children to learn all about how the fire department keeps us and our neighbours safe and sound!
